Hays has closed its specialist recruiting businesses in Delhi and Mumbai. According to a brief announcement on the company’s website:
We will continue to recruit in the Indian market for our global clients with specific requirements and this will be managed by experts from our other global offices.
Recruiter magazine profiled the Indian recruitment market in a Global Spotlight earlier this year and needless to say, its a very tough market for headhunters to both do business in and to make money from.
